Student Demo Class

Bring your group into the forge for a live demonstration of one of the world's oldest crafts. This 2-hour demo class is designed for student groups who want to witness the ancient art of bladesmithing and blacksmithing up close — no prior experience required.

What to Expect

• Watch a skilled demonstrator transform raw metal into a creative forged piece from start to finish
• Learn about the history and techniques behind bladesmithing and blacksmithing
• Ask questions and get an inside look at the tools, materials, and process of the craft
• Approximately 2 hours in duration

Important Details

• Location: Heritage Designs Forge, Oak Grove
• Format: Observation only — this is not a hands-on class
• Price & Attendance: Price is per 2-hour demonstration which can accommodate up to 20 students
• Waivers: All spectators are required to sign a waiver prior to entering the forge
